World No Tobacco Day 2026: Protecting Our Children’s Health at Shree Shakti School of Innovation, Ambaji

On 31 May 2026, Shree Shakti School of Innovation, Ambaji observed World No Tobacco Day with the global theme “Unmasking the appeal – countering nicotine and tobacco addiction”.

WHAT We Focused On

Through age-appropriate talks and activities, we helped students understand how tobacco and new nicotine products (like vapes) are marketed to look attractive but cause serious harm. The message was clear — “My Health, My Choice”.

WHY This is Very Important

Children today are surrounded by attractive advertisements and peer pressure. Early awareness helps them make wise decisions and stay away from addiction. This activity supports the Annamaya Kosha (physical health) and Manomaya Kosha (emotional strength) in our Panchkosha approach.

HOW Parents Can Help

  • Talk openly and honestly with your children about the dangers of tobacco and nicotine
  • Be a positive role model — avoid tobacco in front of children
  • Encourage healthy habits like sports, reading, music, and outdoor play
  • Keep strong communication so children can share their doubts and experiences

Together, we can protect the next generation from harmful addictions.

Choose Health. Choose Life.
