On 18th June 2026, our students stepped out of the classroom and into a world full of wonder. International Picnic Day took our young explorers on an exciting educational visit to Science City, where learning came alive through hands-on experiences and joyful discovery.
WHAT We Celebrate / Focus On / Stand For
We believe that some of the most powerful lessons happen outside the four walls of a classroom. During this visit, our students explored interactive science exhibits, observed real-world applications of science, and experienced the thrill of discovery. The day was filled with curiosity, teamwork, questions, and laughter.
This trip perfectly reflected our philosophy of experiential learning, where children learn by seeing, touching, questioning, and reflecting.
WHY This Matters Deeply for Our Children
Vijnanmaya Kosha (Intellectual Sheath)
Hands-on science exhibits helped children move beyond textbook knowledge. They saw how science works in real life, which strengthened their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Manomaya Kosha (Mental Sheath)
Working in groups, asking questions, and navigating new environments helped children build confidence, communication skills, and social bonds.
Anandmaya Kosha (Bliss Sheath)
The joy of discovery, the excitement of new experiences, and the happiness of learning together created deep, positive memories that make children fall in love with learning.
HOW Parents and Children Can Act / Participate / Support
For Children:
- Share one new thing they learned or found most interesting during the trip.
- Try simple science experiments or observations at home based on what they saw.
For Parents:
- Ask open-ended questions like “What surprised you the most today?” or “What would you like to explore more?”
- Encourage curiosity by visiting science parks, museums, or even exploring everyday science at home.
