At Shree Shakti School of Innovation, Ambaji, we believe that true education includes teaching children to respect and value those who protect our health and well-being. On 1st July 2026, our students celebrated National Doctor’s Day with gratitude, awareness, and heartfelt appreciation for the doctors and health workers who serve our communities every day.

Why We Celebrate National Doctor’s Day
National Doctor’s Day is observed every year on 1st July to honor the contribution of doctors and healthcare professionals. At SSI, we use this day to help our children understand the importance of health, the role of doctors in society, and the value of showing gratitude to those who work selflessly to keep us healthy.
Our students participated in meaningful activities such as making thank-you cards for doctors and nurses, learning basic hygiene habits, and discussing how healthcare workers support our communities.
What Our Students Learned
Through stories and discussions, our children understood the following:
- Doctors and health workers work tirelessly, often at personal cost, to save lives and reduce suffering.
- Good health is one of our greatest blessings and must be protected through healthy habits.
- Showing respect and gratitude to healthcare professionals is an important value.
These lessons help children develop empathy and social responsibility from a young age.
Connecting with Our Holistic Approach
At Shree Shakti School of Innovation, we follow the Panchkosha philosophy of holistic development. National Doctor’s Day gave us an opportunity to nurture the following:
- Annamaya Kosha (Physical Sheath): Children learned the importance of taking care of their bodies through hygiene, nutrition, and healthy routines.
- Pranamaya Kosha (Vital Energy Sheath): Understanding how doctors help maintain the life force within us by treating illnesses and promoting wellness.
We believe that when children learn to care for their own health and respect those who care for others, they grow into more compassionate and responsible individuals. You can read more about our holistic education approach here.
How Parents Can Support This Learning at Home
Parents play a very important role in reinforcing these values. Here are some simple ways you can help:
- Talk to your child about the work doctors and nurses do and why we should respect them.
- Encourage healthy habits at home such as proper handwashing, a balanced diet, and regular sleep.
- If possible, visit a doctor together and let your child observe the care and professionalism involved.
- Appreciate healthcare workers in front of your children so they learn to value their service.
Our Commitment at SSI
We are committed to raising children who are not only academically strong but also kind, grateful, and socially aware. Through celebrations like National Doctor’s Day, we help our students understand that caring for others and maintaining good health are essential life values.
We thank all the doctors, nurses, and health workers who dedicate their lives to serving humanity. Your efforts inspire our children every day.
