On 23rd June 2026, our students learned the true meaning of leadership and service. United Nations Public Service Day at Shree Shakti School of Innovation was dedicated to honoring the people who quietly keep our communities running, our everyday heroes.
What We Did
Our students participated in meaningful discussions on the topic “Who keeps our city clean and safe?” They learned about the important roles played by ASHA workers, municipal staff, sanitation workers, police, and other public service providers who work tirelessly for the community.
Some classes also had the opportunity to interact with a local ASHA worker, who shared simple but powerful insights about community health and service. Students then created thank-you cards and posters to express their gratitude.
Why This Day Matters
Public service is the backbone of any society. From keeping our surroundings clean to ensuring healthcare reaches every home, these services often go unnoticed. By introducing our students to these real-life heroes, we help them understand the value of civic responsibility and respect for all kinds of work.
This activity also helped children develop empathy and realize that true leadership is about serving others.

Message for Parents
