On 14th June 2026, our students learned one of the most beautiful lessons of life — that giving a part of yourself can save someone else’s life.

World Blood Donor Day at Shree Shakti School of Innovation was not about blood donation directly, but about gratitude, compassion, and understanding the value of health. Our children created thank-you cards and discussed how silent heroes — blood donors, doctors, nurses, and health workers — quietly protect and save lives every single day.

WHAT We Celebrate / Focus On / Stand For

We celebrated the spirit of giving and the importance of health. Through stories and activities, our students understood that blood donation is one of the simplest yet most powerful acts of kindness. The day focused on developing empathy and respect for those who serve the community selflessly.

WHY This Matters Deeply for Our Children

Annamaya Kosha (Physical Sheath)

Children learned to value their own body as a precious gift. Understanding how blood keeps us alive helps them respect their physical health and take better care of themselves.

Pranamaya Kosha (Vital Energy Sheath)

The act of giving blood represents the flow of life energy. Children understood that our vital energy can be shared to help others survive and thrive.

Manomaya Kosha (Mental Sheath)

Talking about blood donation and health heroes helped children develop empathy, emotional sensitivity, and a sense of social responsibility from a young age.

HOW Parents and Children Can Act / Participate / Support

For Children:

  • Show gratitude to doctors, nurses, and health workers whenever they visit a hospital or clinic.
  • Take care of their own health through good food, sleep, and hygiene.

For Parents:

  • Discuss the importance of blood donation in simple, positive language.
  • Teach children to respect and thank people who work in healthcare and community service.

Our Collective / Shared Commitment at SSI

At Shree Shakti School of Innovation, we believe that true education includes developing kindness and social responsibility. Through awareness days like World Blood Donor Day, we help our children understand that caring for others is one of the highest forms of human values.

We are committed to raising sensitive, grateful, and responsible individuals who value life and the people who protect it.
